'Break out the sunscreen and golf clubs': The great Calgary Christmas heat wave of 1999

Looking back to Christmas Eve in Calgary 25 years ago conjures up more-than-warm memories. That's because our pretty little city on the Bow was experiencing a heat wave during the holiday season in 1999. The city hit a record December temperature of 17.6 degrees that day.
