Synspective Ends 2024 With Public Listing in Japan and a Dedicated Launch
Japanese satellite company Synspective ended 2024 with a public listing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market and a dedicated satellite launch on Dec. 21.
Rocket Lab launched a single StriX synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite for Synspective from New Zealand on Dec. 21. This is Synspective’s sixth satellite. Rocket Lab has launched every one of Synspective’s satellites and the company has booked 10 more launches with Rocket Lab.
For Rocket Lab, it was the 16th Electron launch of 2024, setting a new annual record for Electron launches.
Separately, Synspective listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market on Dec. 19.
“Through our initial public offering, we aim to engage with our investors and invite them to participate in our mission to create a new infrastructure that enables the next generation to understand our Earth and achieve a resilient future,” the company said in a news release.
