FORECAST DISCUSSION:
Christmas Eve will keep the cloudy skies around, but the rain chances will drop significantly. A few areas will still see a chance for a spotty sprinkle or two. Temperatures are going to top off in the low 40s. This is a few degrees warmer than average for this time of year.
Santa will not see any he issues as he makes his rounds across Central Ohio. All of Central Ohio will continue to see plenty of cloudy as temperatures fall to the low to mid 30s. Winds will become very light as well.
Rain showers chances fall on Christmas Day. Most of these showers are expected between the late morning through the mid afternoon. It will be fairly mild with temps in the mid 40. This will be the second green Christmas in a row. Columbus typically sees a white Christmas only 25% of the time.
The 50s return as early as this Thursday. By this weekend additional chances for rain showers are returning to Central Ohio. A wash out is not expected, just some light nuisance rain.
