Hamilton Street fire in Schenectady under investigation
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Schenectady Fire Department is investigating a fire on Hamilton Street that broke out late Monday night. Officials said no one was injured, and everyone made it out safely.
Fire Chief Donald Mareno said flames were coming from the attic front window. He added that two fire hydrants resented issues for firefighters due to the cold weather.
Firefighters overcame the water problems and controlled the fire in 20 minutes. The fire was entirely out in 30 minutes and remains under investigation.
