IAS Ria Dabi, the younger sister of renowned IAS officer Tina Dabi, tied the knot with IPS Manish Kumar in a private court marriage followed by a reception in Rajasthan that garnered significant social media attention. The couple met during their training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) in Mussoorie, where their friendship blossomed into love.

Who Is Manish Kumar?

Manish Kumar, born on October 2, 1994, in Pitampura, Delhi, achieved All India Rank (AIR) 581 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2020. A Delhi College of Engineering graduate, he pursued a B.Tech degree in 2016. Coming from a Scheduled Caste (SC) community, Manish is admired for his dedication and discipline. 

Following his appointment as an IPS officer, he was initially posted in Maharashtra but was later transferred to Rajasthan after the marriage. The Ministry of Home Affairs issued his transfer order on June 16, 2023.

Ria Dabi, born in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, moved to Delhi with her family while she was in class 7. Following in the footsteps of her elder sister, Tina Dabi who topped the UPSC examination in 2015, Ria secured AIR 15 in UPSC 2020. Currently serving as the Sub-Divisional Officer and Magistrate in Girwa, Udaipur, Ria is known for her commitment to public service and her active social media presence, where she shares insights into her work and life.
