The festive gathering included Secret Santa gift exchanges, cheerful decorations, and a lively holiday spirit.
Christmas Celebration At ‘ConnectFor’
The 34-year-old Shloka Mehta, married to Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s elder son, Akash Ambani, joined her colleagues for the Christmas celebration. Pictures from the event revealed the office decked out with Christmas-themed decorations, including a small tree adorned with ornaments and cheerful paper Santas.
Employees embraced the holiday spirit by dressing in shades of red and green. Shloka, too, looked stylish in a maroon top paired with a long denim skirt, as she posed for photos with her team.
The event featured employees engaging in a Secret Santa gift exchange. One photograph, shared on ConnectFor’s official Instagram page, showed Shloka and co-founder Maniti Shah posing alongside their entire staff. Another picture, shared by an employee, captured the duo smiling together, with the caption “Boss women.”
About ConnectFor
ConnectFor was founded in 2015 by Shloka Mehta and Maniti Shah as a corporate social responsibility initiative of the Rosy Blue Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Mehta’s family business. The platform aims to connect skilled volunteers with NGOs needing support, bridging the gap between resources and talent.
During a September 2024 appearance on The Krish Kothari Show, Shloka shared how the idea for ConnectFor originated. It all began during a casual game of cards when a friend, back in India after college in the U.S., expressed difficulty in finding meaningful volunteering opportunities.
Recognizing the potential to link talented individuals with nonprofits lacking resources for specialized tasks like report writing or audits, Shloka and Maniti decided to create a platform to address this need.
Through their initiative, the two founders have facilitated countless connections between volunteers and NGOs, making a tangible impact in the social welfare space.
