India, China agreement to end Ladakh standoff being implemented 'comprehensively and effectively': Chinese military

The Chinese Defence Ministry has stated that both Chinese and Indian militaries are effectively implementing the border agreement to de-escalate tensions in eastern Ladakh with steady progress. Senior Colonel Zhang Xiaogang cited the importance of adherence to the leaders' consensus to restore bilateral relations to their former status.
