Trash collection holiday delays: Here’s the next curbside pick-up
NEW YORK (PIX11) -- If you typically get your trash picked up on Wednesday you’ll have to hold onto it a little longer.
The Department of Sanitation will not collect trash, curbside composting, or recycling on New Year’s Day.
Residents are advised to put out their materials on Wednesday evening for collection on Thursday, Jan. 2.
Sanitation officials say residents may experience delays in collection, as it common after the holidays.
