Share Market Live Updates 27 December 2024: Indian benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty, are trading higher on Friday, supported by financial stocks. At 10:33 a.m., the Nifty 50 is up 174 points at 23,924 points, while the BSE Sensex has gained 526 points to reach 78,999. Twelve out of thirteen major sectors advanced at the start, with financials leading the charge with a 0.5% increase. Smallcap and midcap stocks also rose approximately 0.3%. Analysts note that due to the lack of major market triggers, trading is expected to remain stable as investors await the upcoming December quarter earnings season, which will be crucial for determining the market’s future direction, according to Siddhartha Khemka from Motilal Oswal Financial Services.
