Manmohan Singh gave new direction to country's economy: Ram Nath Kovind

Former President Ram Nath Kovind paid tributes to former prime minister Manmohan Singh. Singh was known for his humility and for steering India through an economic crisis as finance minister. Kovind described Singh as a modern reformer and expressed personal loss over his death. Singh passed away in Delhi at the age of 92.
