Traveller shows off ‘show home pristine’ caravan with £2k Crown Derby china and chrome EVERYTHING
IT’S not the most convenient surface to clean.
But one traveller has shown just how eye-catching chrome can look, after sharing a video of her incredible caravan.
Bridie took to TikTok to post the short clip of her home, covered in chrome on the outside, before taking the camera inside.
The floor appeared to be tiled, in an intricate pattern, with plush rugs laying on top.
All the cabinets were covered in chrome with glass fronts, with marble cupboards and silver hardware.
But it’s what was inside the cabinets that really caught the attention of viewers.
“All that Crown Derby!” one wrote.
“What in the Crown Derby?” another added.
“Absolutely amazing!”
“Love the Royal Crown Derby “IMARI” – nice with the entrance matching mats,” a third commented, noting that the ceramic collection could be worth at least £2,000.
“Beautiful!”
“Love the crown derby!” someone else gushed.
Bridie continued the video by sharing a look in the back of the trailer, which contained a fully working log fire, and some gorgeous sofas – with blue accents throughout.
And the comments section was almost immediately filled with people complimenting Bridie for her amazing home.
“I’m obsessed, it’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen,” one wrote.
“That’s a museum piece, it’s that beautiful,” another added.
“I can’t stop watching it, it’s absolutely gorgeous,” a third commented.
“The beautiful china dinner service and everything, it’s just out of this world!”
Facts on gypsy and traveller communities
Typically, gypsies is a term used to describe Romani people who migrated to Europe from India while traveller refers to a person with either Irish, Scottish or English heritage.
Around 300,000 Gypsy, Roma and Irish travellers are thought to live in the UK.
All three groups come from nomadic ways of life, however, as it is increasingly difficult to find land to live on, many are moving into permanent housing.
They place high value on family life and often live close together even after reaching adult years and getting married.
Often the men are the breadwinners of the family while the women stay home.
While many English gypsy girls are allowed to drink alcohol and go on holiday with their friends before they get married, their Irish counterparts are not.

“Magnificent,” someone else agreed.
“If I owned it, no-one would be allowed to breathe in it,” another gushed.

However, not everyone was impressed by Bridie’s home, and used the comments to share their thoughts.
“Rather gauche!” one wrote.
“Money yes, but no taste,” another insisted.
“Looks like Liberace’s boudoir,” a third sighed.
“Looks like an arcade,” someone else said.
As another raged: “OMG IT IS AWFUL!”
