British woman jailed in Thailand for trying to have sex on table named and pictured
The identity of a British woman languishing in a Thai prison cell after allegedly trying to have sex on a glass table has been revealed.
Jude Hill, a mother-of-one from Plymouth, left the UK for Thailand a few months ago, according to MailOnline.
She is said to have straddled her partner in a hotel lobby before the piece of furniture shattered in Pattaya, Thailand, at 3 am on Christmas morning.
She allegedly ran away while being chased by hotel staff before grappling with an armed officer in front of the beach.
Bystanders eventually helped to subdue her and she was taken to a police station in handcuffs.
Footage from the incident showed Ms Hill in a white mini-dress insulting locals while slurring her words. She was later escorted in handcuffs to the police station.
Speaking to MailOnline, a person who knew her from the UK and wished to remain anonymous, said: ‘That video sums everything up about her. She’s scatty, she’s nuts.
‘I last bumped into her a couple of months ago, before she went out to Thailand with her son. Her council house recently burnt down and she had to leave. I think shortly after that [she and her son] went off to Thailand.
‘But the truth is she was not very well-liked around here.’
It is understood that she went to Thailand with her son after her home caught fire when a car parked in the driveway was set alight.
Devon and Cornwall Police are treating the incident as arson.
It said an accelerant was deliberately poured over an Audi Q2 when it was parked in the driveway of the residence in Elburton, Plymouth, in September.
Police said the fire spread to the house, causing substantial smoke and fire damage. Ms Hill and the other occupants were evacuated without injury.

Speaking after the incident, staff at the Flipper Lodge Hotel revealed that Ms Hill and her partner began having sex on a sofa before one of them allegedly tried to sit on the glass table.
The pair knocked it over, causing it to shatter.
‘They started trying to have sex on a glass table, causing it to break along with other property,’ one staff member – who did not wish to be named – said.
‘We approached them and discovered they were not hotel customers, so we ushered them out.
‘However, they refused and caused a commotion, so we took them to the police station to file a report and calm them down.
‘We will need to proceed with pressing charges because they damaged the hotel property and must take responsibility, though it’s not a huge issue.’
Pattaya on the east coast of Thailand is a two-hour drive from the main airport serving the capital Bangkok.
It is one of the country’s most popular tourist destinations alongside the capital and Phuket in the south.
A Foreign Office spokesperson said: ‘We are aware of reports of a British National detained in Thailand. We stand ready to offer assistance to British Nationals abroad 24/7.’
