Hilary Swank Talks Celebrating the Holidays & Turning 50 With Her 20-Month Old Twins

Hilary Swank opened up about life as a mom.

The 50-year-old actress welcomed twins Aya and Ohm with husband Philip Schneider in April 2023.

In a new interview, she reflected on them celebrating their second Christmas with her. Hilary also explained how her perspective had shifted after she became a mom. The actress even opened up about turning 50 recently.

While on Today with Hoda and Jenna, Hilary noted that this was the first Christmas that Aya and Ohm were really processing.

“Last year was technically their first Christmas, but they were completely unaware. This time, they saw a tree with lights,” she said, adding that they were amazed by the vision.

How has life changed since becoming a mom?

“Everything is new again,” she explained. “You hear that, but until you experience it you’re like ‘What does that even mean?’ But now I know.”

Hilary continued, adding, “It makes every time of year more special. Every day with them is so divine, and it’s such a blessing. And I feel so grateful, and I’m so happy.”

As for turning 50, the actress said that it “just felt like another number.”

However, she added that she doesn’t feel that old.

“I was just saying to my friend, not five minutes ago before getting here, I feel like I’m 30 because I have 20-month-old babies,” she explained.
