‘Huge win’: MAGA world cheers as far-right AG brags of legal victory against Biden

President Joe Biden can no longer sell off unused border wall parts before the next administration takes office, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced late Friday.

The far-right attorney general secured the new legal victory against Biden after reports surfaced earlier this month that the outgoing administration sold off unused parts of the U.S.-Mexico border. That prompted Paxton, a staunch ally of President-elect Donald Trump, to take his complaints to federal court with the filing of a motion seeking to enforce a permanent injunction.

The legal tactic worked, and at a federal court hearing in southern Texas on Friday, the Biden administration agreed to an order preventing it from disposing of any further border wall materials over the next 30 days, Paxton said in a release.

The move will allow Trump to use those materials “as he sees fit,” he added.

"We have successfully blocked the Biden administration from disposing of any further border wall materials before President Trump takes office,” Paxton said. “This follows our major victory forcing Biden to build the wall, and we will hold his Administration accountable for illegally subverting our nation’s border security until their very last day in power, especially where their actions are clearly motivated by a desire to thwart President-elect Trump’s immigration agenda.”

The latest defeat to Biden, already a lame duck in the waning days of his presidency, was met with enthusiasm from MAGA supporters, many of whom took to social media to praise the court victory – and Paxton.

“HUGE win,” MAGA internet personality Nick Sortor wrote his followers on X. “Biden attempted to blatantly subvert the will of the American people by racing to auction off border wall materials for just pennies on the dollar, which would force Trump to buy them back at EXPONENTIALLY higher markups.”

He followed that up with another post saying, “Ken Paxton is one of the best AGs in the country.”
