Shaughna Phillips hits back as she’s accused of using weight loss jabs after revealing 5 stone body transformation

LOVE Island star Shaughna Phillips has clapped back at trolls claiming she used weight loss jab Ozempic to shed more than five stone.

The ITV2 alum, 30, told she had instead concentrated on “incredible eating” and an “exercise plan” to get her diet on track.

Mum-of-one Shaughna admitted she was “sad” at the backlash to her changing shape as she showcased before and after images showing her posing in a hot pink bikini.

The star – who featured in Love Island‘s sixth season – recently joked how she looked like a “rolled up ham” as she tried on outfits from her 2020 series.

Now she has stripped to her striking two-piece to show off the efforts of her health and wellbeing kick – without the use of any slimming drugs.

The opening scenes saw her looking glum as she posed in her bedroom, before she swirled around in a clever video transition which saw her flashing her toned abs in her kitchen.

Shaughna looked confident as she flashed a pose balancing on one leg with her flat tummy and honed derriere on display.

Yet it was her lengthy caption which gave more detail on her exact weight loss.

Hotting back at the haters, she wrote: “NO-zempic here guys! Just an incredible eating and exercise plan.

“And it didn’t happen that quickly either. It actually took me over a year to lose 5 and a half Stone. And I did NOT do it alone – I had great help. But not from any kind of weight loss injection or pill.

“Sad that you can’t lose weight naturally now without people saying that btw.

“So I do understand why there are comments saying that and I would never knock anyone for taking them but it’s just not how I’ve chosen to do this.”

Popular with some Hollywood stars, Ozempic is actually a treatment for type 2 diabetes.

It increases the levels of incretins – a hormone – which helps your body to produce more insulin when needed and supresses the amount of glucose produced by the liver.

The jab also suppresses users’ appetite – mimicking a naturally occurring hormone called glucagon-like peptide-1, which is usually released after eating.

As a result patients have less of an appetite, and reduce the number of calories they eat.

Love Island All Stars 2025 rumours

Love Island All Stars will be back for its second series in 2025 - and rumours are already rife as to who will be making a comeback this time around.

After the second All Stars series was announced in May, show boss Mike Spender said: “Lots of people have been in contact about it, lots of fun people, from series one onwards.

“We cast it because we knew what was going on behind the scenes of who was getting with who and now even more stories have come out.

“I think we will now save ex-islanders for All Stars.”

One rumoured name for the next series is data engineer Harry Baker.

Harry, 25, arrived in the villa as a bombshell in Series 11. He soon ‘stole’ Grace Jackson after making his debut.

Arriving late in the run, he only lasted for a few days before being dumped alongside Lola Deloca.

Despite the hunk’s brief stint, viewers have called for Harry’s return.

One upset fan wrote: “Get you in All Stars next”, to which Harry cryptically replied by posting ‘shrugging’ emojis.

She continued: “The game changer for me was the nutrition plan. I get to eat MORE now – I often used to go all day without eating and then eat crap in the evenings.

“Now I’m eating throughout the day. Also instead of doing an hour’s workout and thinking that will fix my disordered eating – I just do short 12 minute workouts.

“And yes I have loose skin – but who wouldn’t after losing 5 and a half stone and giving birth to an 8lb 8 ounce baby! But I’m fitter than I’ve ever been.”

The reality TV star then revealed her latest business venture, based on her weight loss.

She added: “So after thousands of you have asked how I’ve done it, I am now sharing all that info with you all on a website I’ve put together for you.

“The Eating Plan, the Workouts AND some motivational videos from my amazing nutritionist. I’ve called it Shaughna’s Shred-It Plan – check it out via the LINK in my BIO or go to shreditplan.com.

“And we’ve got an Early Bird offer on – if you sign up now you get an Abs Shred AND an Arms Shred workout for FREE! Offer ends this week.”

STANDING STRONG

It isn’t the first time Shaughna has been accused of using Ozempic.

She has repeatedly spoken out after followers were quick to suggest she’d had a bit of help from the controversial medication.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Shaughna previously said: “You can say I’m on whatever you want, it really doesn’t bother me.

“But my biggest concern is people will see I’ve lost weight, think that it’s Ozempic because that’s what people are commenting and try to get it because that’s what they think I’ve done when it genuinely isn’t.

“And I have absolutely no idea about the side effects or the cost but I don’t want people suffer horrible side effects or get into debt if it’s really expensive because they think it’s what I did.”
