Elephant found dead in Chhattisgarh's Korba; electrocution suspected

An elephant, approximately 15 years old, was found dead in Korba district, Chhattisgarh, on Saturday. The carcass was discovered near Gitakunwari village. Preliminary findings suggest electrocution as the cause of death, though the exact cause will be confirmed after the post-mortem. Over 50 elephants have died in the state in the past four years.
