Madras High Court constitutes SIT comprising women IPS officers to probe Anna University sexual assault case

The Madras High Court has formed an all-women IPS officers' SIT to probe the Anna University sexual assault case and the FIR leak incident, directing the Tamil Nadu Government to compensate the victim and ensure no future FIR leaks. The court also reprimanded the police for holding a press conference without permission.
