Samuel Ersson sheds struggles, stymies Ducks in Flyers' win

Samuel Ersson made 32 saves to propel the Philadelphia Flyers to a 3-1 road victory over the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday.

Noah Cates, Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee scored for Philadelphia, which improved to 1-1-0 on its six-game road trip. Ersson had allowed at least three goals in each of his previous eight appearances dating to Nov. 9 but was much sharper in this one.
