Ice climber rescued after 30 foot fall in Tannersville
TANNERSVILLE, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- An ice climber is recovering after a 30 to 40-foot fall on Friday morning. Greene County Paramedics and and Hunter Ambulance responded to the rescue in Tannersville.
Officials for Greene County Paramedics said the fall happened near Route 23A in Tannersville. The rescue required the technical ropes team and paramedics from Hunter Ambulance to work together.
The ice climber is receiving treatment from Albany Medical Center. A physician team from the hospital intercepted for possible blood administration in the field after being requested during the extrication process.
