ATLANTA, Georgia - The longest living U.S. president, and Nobel Prize winner, Jimmy Carter has died at the age of 100.
Cartern died on Sunday at his home in Plains, Georgia.
The 39th president of the United States, who succeeded Gerald Ford who stepped in after Richard Nixon's resigation, served from January 1977 to January 2081, and was succeeded by Ronald Reagan.
