Person fighting for their life after Brooklyn fire: FDNY

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – Two people were injured, one critically, in a fire at a Brooklyn building Sunday night, according to the FDNY.

The blaze broke out just before 11 p.m. Sunday on the second floor of a building on Alabama Avenue between Blake and Sutter Avenues, officials said.

The fire took just over a half hour to control, but the cause was not immediately known.

Videos posted to Citizen show fire trucks parked outside the building near housing complexes.
