“We are in Turkey for the first time. That’s great. Completely new and different landscapes, completely different needs from the house hunters.
“Exploring the food and the culture. It is a different looking episode. I think people are going to like that.”
For the first time in 15 years the series will also revisit the United States and Jean is excited for viewers reactions.
“It’s just a different look for when it’s three o’clock in the afternoon and it’s pouring down with rain outside.
“You put your telly on and all of a sudden, we are in Turkey or Fort Lauderdale.
“I just hope it will brighten up everybody’s day and make people keep dreaming.
The property show has a new tea time slot of 6pm so while viewers are curling up with a cuppa they can be whisked away to warmer climates.
Hoping that the show inspires people to follow their own property dreams, Jean concludes: “When you see normal, everyday people from all over the country doing it.
“That really does inspire other people who are sat on their sofas at home with a little bit of money that they could do it too.”
The full interview is available in The Sun TV Magazine which is free with The Sun newspaper every weekend.
Another presenter, Jasmine Harman, has been on A Place in The Sun since 2004.
But last year, she made the life-changing decision to swap the UK for Spain.
In her new tv show – Jasmine’s Renovation in the Sun, Jasmine, husband Jon and their two young children buy and renovate a rundown Spanish villa.

The 15-part series follows the family transforming the dilapidated property into a perfect family home.
Jasmine said: “Moving abroad has been completely different to what I expected and dreamed of.
“I never wanted to take on a renovation project but somehow, we fell in love with this house.
“Changing country, renovating a property, raising our family – all the while having a TV crew following you around, is next level!
“All the same, we feel like this is the best move for our family and we’re so excited to get started.”
Michelle Heeley, Executive Producer for Freeform Productions, added: “Like so many of our House Hunters over the years who have made the move, Jasmine is now doing this for herself.
“Being able to follow her journey and highs and lows along the way will be an entertaining watch.”
