Sidney Crosby has passed Mario Lemieux and now has the most career assists in Penguins franchise history.
Crosby registered an assist during Sunday’s 3-2 win over the Islanders, giving him his 1,034th career assist.

Crosby now sits first in Penguins history with the most assists and 12th on the NHL’s all-time list, sitting just 15 assists away from cracking into the all-time Top 10 list.

The monumental assist was celebrated after the game in the locker room with a ceremonial puck and stick given to Crosby to mark the occasion.
