NPCI removes 100-million-users cap on WhatsApp Pay

The National Payments Corporation of India has removed the limit on WhatsApp Pay for adding new users to its UPI-based payment service. Previously, there was a cap of 100 million users. Now, WhatsApp's 500 million users in India can join UPI. This move aims to increase the adoption of WhatsApp Pay in the mainstream market.
