Philips TVs set to return as Skyworth, Super Plastronics form joint venture
Skyworth Digital Technology from China is partnering with Super Plastronics in India to relaunch Philips televisions. Skyworth will own 40% of the joint venture. Philips TVs will be relaunched in January. Super Plastronics will manufacture the TVs in a new plant in Uttar Pradesh. Joint ventures are becoming a popular way for Chinese firms to invest in India.
