It’s supposed to rain this evening (December 31) and forecasts show New York City could be impacted at midnight when the ball drops in Times Square as we ring in New Year’s Eve 2025.

While the air temperature will be in the 40s around midnight, latest reports indicate there could even be heavy rain when the clock strikes midnight. Right now, forecasts say that rain could start around 5pm ET and continue until after midnight.
