Albany woman arrested for allegedly stabbing someone
ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- An Albany woman has been arrested following a stabbing incident that happened on Columbia Street on Monday. Angel Infante, 27, faces multiple charges.
Charges
- Second-degree assault
- Two counts of first-degree criminal contempt
- Third-degree criminal possession of a weapon
- Endangering the welfare of a child
Officers responded to a home on Columbia Street for reports of an assault just before midnight on Monday. Police said they found a man with stab wounds to his chest and abdomen on the scene.
It is alleged that Infante stabbed the victim during a domestic incident. The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Infante was arrested on the scene. She was arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court with bail set at $10,000.
