Jennifer Lopez’s Fans React to the Exclusion of Ben Affleck From Her 2024 Highlight Reel

In her very Jennifer Lopez way, J.Lo isn’t looking at 2024 as a bummer of a year. The 55-year-old superstar is speaking positively about time in her life that had some very public setbacks — and fans love that she’s celebrating herself without one Ben Affleck mention.
Her 2024 highlight reel on Instagram featured moments from the Met Gala, This Is Me … Now: A Love Story movie musical, her “ham and cheese on a roll with an orange drink” meme, and her most recent film, Unstoppable. Without a mention of what happened in her personal life, Lopez is letting everyone know that she’s going to be OK, and she doesn’t need Affleck to be a powerhouse.
“I am very proud of how I handle all the things. All the things,” she said in the clip from various interviews. “In my low moments, I’ve learned to just feel the feelings and then let them go.” But of course, J.Lo wasn’t done, she had more inspiration to deliver.
“What a journey this has been. I honestly feel that the best is yet to come,” Lopez added, “I can sit here with my heart and soul intact and still feel really full of love. It’s gonna get better, and it always does. It’s a beautiful life in that way.” Her quotes resonated with her followers who praised her in the comments.
“🔥🔥🔥🔥and this is why your the REINA. 😍😍😍✨✨shine baby shine like you always do. Love you!!!!!! ❤️,” wrote one fan. Another account gushed, “Brilliant force of nature!” And then there was the supportive realist who understood what Lopez went through in 2024. “Damn, what an EPIC year, I can’t get enough! 🥳. It ain’t all hearts and flowers, but you know mama we are here with you and love ya so much,” they wrote.
Lopez isn’t finishing up the year with a finalized divorce, that aspect of her marriage to Affleck will linger into 2025. Still, the former Bennifer 2.0 have managed to split amicably. They celebrated a pre-Christmas lunch together and her ex even bought her a thoughtful present for the holidays.
“They have every intention of continuing to be in each other’s lives despite not being romantically involved,” a Page Six source claimed. “Ben and Jennifer are still connected, and they do communicate when it involves their kids.”
Even though Affleck will have a presence in her life, Lopez is making sure she’s the main character in 2025.
