Little Apple ball drop changes venue for New Year's Eve party

MANHATTAN (KSNT) - Manhattan locals looking to celebrate the arrival of 2025 with the ball drop will need to head to a new location this year.

The Little Apple ball drop, signaling the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025, will return for its 22nd year, but at a different place. The So Long Saloon at 1130 Moro Street has the honor this year for hosting the ball drop.

Aggieville businesses are expecting huge crowds to attend the celebrations. People who are feeling up to it can even take part in a dance battle.

"You can dance with a group, dance by yourself," said Dan Michaels, operations manager at Qcountry 103.5. "You can dance with a partner."

People who want to participate in the dance battle can head over to where Michaels is DJing at the intersection next to the saloon. He'll accept your information and enter you into the contest.
