Royal Fans Are Fuming over the Ai-Generated Christmas Card Featuring Prince Archie & Princess Lilibet

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, released a super-sweet Christmas card this year, and it even featured a never-before-seen photo of their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. However, because the internet is what it is, people have to take it a step further. If you’ve been on X, the app formerly known as Twitter, then chances are you’ve seen how rampant and how inappropriate AI images have gotten.

On Dec 26, an X account shared an AI-created Christmas card featuring an AI image of what someone thought Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet would look like. The account posted it, with the caption “Thoughts?” And boy, safe to say, X had a lot to say about it.

While some actually believed this was a real photo the Sussexes published, it’s not. It’s an AI photo someone created of the Sussex kids, and the internet is roasting both the image, and the person who made a fake image of kids they don’t know. X users commented things like “Pathetic fakery,” and “???????????? A complete fabrication! ???????????? 100% AI ????????‍♀️ And to think some people will believe this is real ????.”

Harry and Meghan have spoken about keeping their children away from the spotlight, so not only would an image like this be totally out of left-field from the patterns we’ve seen, but it’s all….rather strange, at least to X users. Many also commented on the weird nature of making AI pictures of royal children, and we gotta agree with them on this one.
