Juveniles injured in Mount Vernon shooting

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- Two juveniles were injured after a shooting in the Mount Vernon neighborhood on New Year's Eve.

Authorities responded to the scene in the 400 block of Trevitt Street at 11:41 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the Columbus Division of Police. Officers found two juvenile victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victims were transported to a local hospital and are expected to survive their injuries. The incident is under investigation and police are asking those with information to call 614-645-4141.
