Towie star admits she’s secretly SPLIT from boyfriend saying ‘I’m single AGAIN’
LYDIA Bright has revealed she’s single again, in a heartfelt social media post sharing her Christmas memories.
The former reality star, who was famous for her on and off again relationship with James ‘Arg’ Argent, revealed her single status in a December round up post on Instagram.
Lydia told fans: “December Dump. I really wanted to start doing monthly dumps in the New Year.
“Mainly because I think it’s a great way to reflect on all the memories made each month. December was a good enough excuse to start early….”
She then shared a list of happy memories, including meeting up with another former TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh.
Ending the post, Lydia wrote: “Of course, there was also the magic of Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
“However, I always leave my phone in the drawer during this time to take some time out from socials and really be present.
“I’ll be honest I was a little nervous about Christmas. It’s a time when feelings are amplified and I was worried I would feel the sadness of being single AGAIN.
“However, I have never felt so blessed to have my friends, family and so grateful for our memories together. Going into 2025 with the fullest.”
Lydia and Ben first began dating at the beginning of 2024, with Lydia keeping hints of her new romance under wraps.
By May, the couple were Instagram official and Lydia was all smiles as she posed for a picture with Ben while having a bite to eat in Convent Garden, London.
At the time, she captioned the picture of the happy couple: “”Now you are no longer my secret lover, we gotta get better at the couple pictures for the gram @bdlandscapesltd.”
She also went public with a video explaining why she was in love with him, as she shared multiple reasons including capturing sweet scenes showing the hunky landscape gardener carrying her four-year-old daughter Loreta on his shoulders during an evening stroll.
The former couple were also spotted getting affectionate during a date night to popular Essex restaurant Sheesh in Chigwell, where Lydia’s ex Arg was performing with his band.
Lydia and Arg dated between 2002 and 2012, then again between 2015 and 2016.
A source there on the night told The Sun at the time: “Lydia couldn’t keep her hands off Ben… and she certainly didn’t seem to mind that her ex was just a few feet away.
“They were passionately kissing right in front of where James was performing with The Arg Band, which didn’t go unnoticed by other guests at the event.
“Lydia and James have been close friends for years and are comfortable with the fact they have both moved on in life, although it can still be awkward to see your ex with someone new.
“It’s taken Lydia years to go public with a partner… it was clear from how affectionate they were together that their relationship is serious.”
