LOVE Island host Maya Jama dropped a huge hint weeks ago that she might be loved up with her rumoured new man.
Maya Jama, who joins ITV‘s The Masked Singer and will present the new series of Love Island All Stars this month, has sparked rumours that she’s dating footballer Ruben Dias.
Ruben, who plays for Manchester City, was spotted with Maya on New Year’s Eve as the pair celebrated at Sa Capella in Ibiza to ring in 2025.
The couple have been rumoured to be dating for weeks, when they began following each other on social media shortly after they both attended the MTV EMAs in Manchester.
However it now seems Maya dropped a major hint that she was loved up and could see a future with her next love interest, and she has big plans.
The TV presenter revealed her next romance will be with the man she intends to marry, which could mean good things for current rumoured beau Ruben.
In an interview with The Evening Standard, she shared: “Thirty is a milestone.
“I am so happy right now but the next person I meet I want to marry and have kids with, so obviously I’m feeling fussy.
“I’ve created such a nice life for myself alone and I don’t want anyone who’s not going to add to that.”
She continued: “I’m in this lovely bubble and I don’t want you unless you make me happy. If you’re not, I kind of don’t need you.
“One thing I’ve learned: some people are like, ‘I’m lonely, I need someone.’
“But the mission in life is to make yourself happy, then find someone who brings something that matches that to the table.”
Prior to this Maya’s last major romance was with UK rapper Stormzy.
The couple first dated from 2014 until 2019, before breaking up.
They then rekindled their love in August 2023, before later calling it quits in July 2024.
In a statement released to Instagram, the pair said: “We’ve been laughing whilst drafting this because we never, ever, in a million years thought we’d be the couple announcing a breakup.
“But for the sake of clarity and, more importantly, to allow us the space and grace that’s needed for us both to be able to navigate this next bit of our lives with peace, we thought it might be best to.”
They claimed they called it quits after “trying our best to make it work” and insisted “we are still friends and will always be friends.”
