Sam Thompson showers Pete Wicks’ Strictly partner Jowita with compliments after Zara McDermott split
SAM Thompson has gushed over Strictly Come Dancing professional Jowita Przystal’s figure in his first interview since splitting with Zara McDermott.
The Made In Chelsea alum, 32, and his Love Island star girlfriend, 28, called time on their relationship after five years this weekend – before he spoke out on his podcast with BFF Pete Wicks, 37.
Fans had called out a host of worrying clues prior to their sad break-up, including the fact they didn’t spend Christmas together.
They also speculated their partnership – which was aired in part on E4 reality series MIC – “never recovered” after Zara’s cheating scandal was aired to the nation.
The BBC Three documentary-maker previously confessed to having a fling with music exec Brahim Fourad while taking part in The X Factor: Celebrity in 2019.
Now Sam, who was seen downing shots with his telly pals on New Year’s Eve, has praised Polish star Jowita‘s “cracking” and “unbelievable” shape.
It came during a chat on his Staying Relevant podcast with former TOWIE star Pete – who was paired with Jowita, 30, during Strictly‘s 20th anniversary series.
The pair were giving out awards for 2024 and Pete – who had been joined on the podcast by Jowita through the winter when Sam was in Australia filming I’m A Celeb spin-off Unpacked – was quick to speak out.
He said: “Best new team member is up next, I think it’s obvious. It’s someone who helped us out while Sam was away, we all love her.
“Some have said she’s a good replacement and potentially better.
“She’s part of one of 2024’s most defining partnerships in TV land and she’s become a sensational part of this team. The winner is Jowita.”
Talking of the former Strictly winner, Sam didn’t hold back.
He replied: ‘Gotta say, a cracking pair of abdominals as well.
“I couldn’t believe it, when she whacked off her top, I was like f***ing hell.
“Unbelievable, washboard. Never seen anything like it.”

This week, it was confirmed the pair ended their relationship after “a tough year.”
A source close to the couple told MailOnline: “Sam and Zara have ended their relationship. It’s been an incredibly difficult decision for them to part ways, they still care and have a lot of love for each other.
“But after a tough year of working hard at their romance, they have split and will be focusing on their individual careers going forward into 2025.
“There has been no scandal or fallout between them, it’s just the result of a difficult year, where they both had to spend a lot of time focused on their own projects.”
