Chick-fil-A celebrates the New Year with fan-favorite menu comebacks
(KTLA) — Chick-fil-A is celebrating the New Year by bringing back old fan-favorite menu items.
The popular chicken chain on Monday announced the return of Grilled Spicy Deluxe Sandwich and Key Lime seasonal beverages, which will be available at participating restaurants later this month.
First introduced in 2021, the Grilled Spicy Deluxe Sandwich was the chain's first spicy grilled sandwich and quickly became a fan favorite, according to the company.
The sandwich features a boneless chicken breast marinated with a blend of peppers. It's served on a toasted multigrain brioche bun with Colby Jack cheese, green leaf lettuce, and tomato. The sandwich also comes with a cilantro lime sauce.
The sandwich was so popular that there are currently multiple YouTube Chick-fil-A Spicy Deluxe copycat recipes for making the meal at home — one by food content creator Joshua Weissman has over 1 million views. Meanwhile, a Redditor who posted in the Chick-fil-A subreddit just one month ago, "Praying every day that they bring back the Spicy Grilled Deluxe," is likely thrilled to learn the news.
Also returning in 2025: Chick-fil-A's Key Lime beverage line-up, which includes the Key Lime Frosted Lemonade and Key Lime Lemonade.
The beverage line-up was originally introduced in 2019.
The Grilled Spicy Deluxe Sandwich and Key Lime seasonal beverages are set to return to menus at participating restaurants on Jan. 7.
