She capped off the year by securing her 30th triple crown title at the 2024 CIBC Tour finals. Her remarkable achievement of 43 golds and four silvers on the PPA Tour showcases her exceptional skill and dedication. Who is Anna Leigh Waters?
Born in 2007, Leigh Waters made history in 2017 by becoming the youngest player to turn professional in pickleball. Now, she holds the title of the world’s highest-ranked female pickleball player and has quickly built a reputation for herself. By 2024, she surpassed $3 million in earnings, thanks to a combination of salary and endorsement deals.
“She will earn more than $3 million this year,” her agent Kelly Wolf had revealed.
“She has become the face of pickleball, and both the PPA Tour [Professional Pickleball Association] and MLP [Major League Pickleball] know that,” Wolf told Forbes.
“Anna Leigh is her own little cottage industry, to be quite honest,” she added.
Reflecting on the achievement, Leigh Waters did not seem overawed. “I’m young, I’m still living with my parents, but I make over seven figures a year.”
“There’s nobody else out there that has all these deals that she has right now,” Wolf added.
