Iconic reality star’s daughter looks just like her as she competes for place in Miss World – but can you guess her mum?

AN ICONIC reality star’s daughter is competing for a place in Miss World – and she looks just like her.

Xantia Hobrough, 19, is hoping to be crowned a beauty queen over 20 years after her mother won the hit ITV series Survivor in 2001.

She’s also an arresting sight because her father is a chief constable in charge of 1,300 police officers.

Charlotte Hobrough, 47, was dubbed “Charlotte the Harlot” when she overcame accusations of an on-screen fling in order to claim the top spot.

And her marriage to police officer Mark Hobrough survived as he rose up the ranks to become Chief Constable of the Gwent force in Wales.

Their daughter Xantia is bidding to be crowned Miss Wales for a place in the Miss World finals.

Former police woman Charlotte scooped a one million pound sum for winning the competition before buying a house and starting a family in Sully, South Wales.

Animal lover Xantia is studying veterinary medicine at university and working to become a Veterinary Surgeon.

And the fighting fit teenager is a black belt and former British champion in taekwondo as well as a record holder in surf lifesaving.

She said: “I am so proud to announce I have been selected as a Miss Wales finalist!”

Her mum Charlotte was crowned “Ultimate Survivor” after enduring 40 days on Tiga Island in Malaysia and beating 15 other contestants to the final.

She was dubbed “Charlotte the Harlot” after an alleged fling with fellow contestant Adrian Bauckham despite being married to fellow cop Mark Hobrough.

And the couple’s marriage survived the ordeal and Mr Hobrough has since gone on to be named chief constable of Gwent Police.

Xantia said as part of her campaign to win the title she would raise money for the Beauty with a Purpose charity and is running the Newport Half Marathon next year.

She said the charity would “Encourage individuals to search for self-fulfilment through selfless acts and projects devoted to helping those less fortunate than themselves and discourage young people from basing their self-worth on the superficial, surface-level qualities that society puts so much pressure on.”

Miss Wales organiser, Paula Abbandonato, said: “Miss Wales is committed to Beauty with a purpose and that means empowering young women and raising money for good causes through the glamour and fun of pageantry.

“The girls get to make great friends and experience new opportunities while really doing their bit for charity.”

The Miss Wales 2025 final will take place in May and involves a three-day event.
