Amanda Holden upgrades £40k engagement ring for ‘£200k super sparkler’ as a gift from hubby Chris
AMANDA Holden has shown off her new fancy piece of bling, which has seen her upgrade her engagement ring.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden has been spotted stepping out after Christmas with an engagement ring that appears significantly more expensive than her original ring.

In February 2011, Amanda lost their baby son Theo when he was stillborn at seven months.
Hughes originally gave Holden an engagement ring worth approximately £40,000, but the star’s new bling appears to be worth five times more.
Diamond expert Zack Stone, of Steven Stone Jewellers, told The Mail on Sunday that Holden’s new ring will have cost in the region of £200,000.
He explained: “The oval ring with yellow gold band and platinum head with hidden halo looks to be six to seven carats in size and the cost likely to be £200,000.”
He added that her original ring wouldn’t have been worth even a quarter of the new one as he added: “That was a two-and-a-half carat, emerald-cut ring roughly around £40,000.”
Holden first met Hughes in 2003 in Los Angeles, but they did not start dating until 2004.
Chris was formerly the director of YMU, a showbiz agency which managed Amanda and her Britain’s Got Talent co-host Simon Cowell.
Yet after reported financial losses by YMU, Chris stepped back from the role.
The pair wed on December 10, 2008, at St Margaret’s Church in Somerset.
The reception was held at Babington House, an exclusive members only club and hotel.
Amanda was previously married to TV presenter and actor Les Dennis for eight years from 1995 to 2003.
However, Amanda reportedly cheated on him in 2000 with actor Neil Morrissey.
