Two pitch inspections have already taken place which have led to the decision for the match to go ahead.
However, Neville was clearly in favour of the game being postponed due to poor form of Man United.
Liverpool are the overwhelming favourites to win the game and the Man United legend tried to take matters into his own hands.
As Jamie Carragher helped shovel snow off the pitch, Neville could be seen shovelling it back on.
Sky Sports shared the video on social media, and fans have all reacted in the same way.
One posted: “Gary on his mission postponement.”

But the Portuguese side’s chiefs expect Amorim will come calling in the summer – with his cheque book wide open.

Hit 43 goals in 50 games last season and boasts 18 strikes already this term.
GONCALO INACIO

Position: Defender
Cost: £50million
Ball-playing centre-back was handed his debut by Amorim and has since become a key figure in Sporting’s recent title successes.
