Shoppers racing to Primark for brand new activewear sets – they’re perfect for keen runners AND couch potatoes
SHOPPERS are in a frenzy over Primark’s new active wear sets, which are perfect for both exercise and lounging around.
Following the new year, many of us may have made new year’s resolutions to be more fit and active or have plans to try out a new sport.
And others may be in the mood for a cosy winter, curled up by the fire in comfy clothes.
And for those keen to scrimp and save after an expensive Christmas, Primark is the perfect place to go for bargain activewear.
Sharing a clip of some of the highlights from their new range, Primark said: “Caught the running bug?

Some of the products on display in the video include a selection of ladies’ Seamless Counter Leggings, which are priced at £11.
The leggings come in three different colours, stone, blue and black and are available in sizes XXS to XL.
A description reads: “Offering a flexible slim fit, these seamless contoured leggings are a must-have for your athletic arsenal.
“They’re made from a flexible material that contains stretch to ensure the leggings move when you do, helping to provide optimal comfort no matter what workout you’re doing.
“This design offers a high-rise silhouette with a thick waistband and seamless construction, while the long length cuts off at the ankle, making these leggings an ideal option for winter workouts, too.”
To go with the leggings, you can purchase matching Seamless Contour Long Sleeve Tops, which come in a variety of colours including purple and blue.
The tops are priced at £10 and are available in-store or via click and collect.
Primark said: “The piece has been created with exercise in mind, so you can expect flexibility and easy movement, courtesy of the soft material that contains stretch.
“It also showcases a high neck with a half-zip fastening for ease when putting the top on and taking it off, while long raglan sleeves benefit from thumb holes for a secure feeling fit.”
The range also includes a selection of gym bags, water bottles and trainers.
