FDNY unions say congestion toll will hurt response times: ‘Could mean the difference between life and death’

The FDNY will be forced to use firetrucks and other heavy vehicles to move firefighters around the city because smoke eaters will no longer want to drive their personal cars into manhattan, warned Uniformed Firefighters Association President Andrew Ansbro.
