Zendaya’s Ring Finger Stuns on Golden Globes Red Carpet
Challengers may have won Best Score at the 2025 Golden Globes, but think about it: isn’t the best score of all …a life partner? The internet went wild with speculation that Zendaya and Tom Holland are lowkey engaged, as evidenced highkey by the ring she flashed on the red carpet. The Spider-Man/The Odyssey co-stars have been openly dating since 2021 (and rumored to have been together since 2017). But is one piece of jewelry reason enough to start brainstorming wedding gifts? We’ve gathered the arguments for and against a Tomdaya betrothal below, because nothing feels better than spinning out over things that we cannot know and do not affect us.
What is the evidence for engagement?

Zendaya faced the ring to camera a lot on the red carpet, and may have showed it off to Spider-Man: Homecoming producer (and thus Tomdaya matchmaker) Amy Pascal during a break in the ceremony. Or she could have just been extending a hand in greeting to Pascal, the footage is unclear.

There have been rumors of Holland and Zendaya getting hitched for a while, culminating in some of the most upsetting AI art your aunt could ever share on Facebook. Beyond that, the argument is quite shaky. They live together, she’s got a tattoo of a T, and they’re still together after seeing Usher together in 2023. That’s a solid foundation.
And against?
Sure, she had an ring on The Significant Finger, but she also had one on the other hand. The two rings could represent the two love interests of Challengers. Or the two movies she was married to at the Globes, Challengers and Dune: Part Two. Or they could just be rings. Also Tom Holland wasn’t even there.
