Barred by jurisdiction: Lokpal disposes of corruption complaint against ex-CJI Chandrachud

The anti-corruption ombudsman Lokpal has dismissed a complaint alleging corruption against former Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud for being outside its jurisdiction. The Lokpal stated that a sitting judge or the CJI does not fall under its purview as defined by the Lokpal Act.
