Kamala Harris was clearly not happy while presiding over Congress tallying the electoral votes from her massive electoral defeat last November, and GOP lawmakers put salt on an open wound with their response to her reading the totals and declaring Trump the next President of the United States.
After announcing that President Trump had won 312 electoral votes, she began to read her own final tally, but the lawmakers cut her off with enormous applause and a standing ovation.

The Gateway Pundit reported on the 2024 election certification ceremony earlier, where Kamala Harris presided over the certification of her humiliating defeat in November. Throughout the tallying process, Kamala stood at the desk next to Speaker Johnson with an annoyed look on her face.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Harris also faced humiliation during the swearing-in of senators when Senator Deb Fischer’s husband refused to shake her hand.
After the electoral votes were tallied in the joint session of Congress on Monday, Harris read off the totals with 312 votes for President Trump and JD Vance and just 226 for herself and Tim Walz.
Democrats also gave Kamala a standing ovation, but it was pathetic compared to the victorious Republican caucus.

This announcement of the state of the vote by the President of the Senate shall be deemed a sufficient declaration of the persons elected President and Vice President of the United States, each for a term beginning on the 20th day of January, 2025, and shall be entered together with the list of the votes on the journals of The House and the Senate.
