Ski patrol strike at US' largest resort sees long lines, closed trails

PARK CITY, Utah: Skiers at Park City, Utah, the largest ski resort in the U.S., reported long lift lines and closed trails this week as a five-day strike by ski patrol workers continued.

Nearly 200 ski patrol and safety workers are demanding higher pay, asking for a starting wage of US$23 an hour instead of the current $21. Vail Resorts Inc. owns Park City Mountain Resort.
