Tanzania gears up for energy summit to expand power access

DAR ES SALAAM, Jan. 5 (Xinhua) -- Tanzanian authorities announced Sunday that preparations for the African Heads of State Energy Summit, scheduled for Jan. 27-28, are well underway.

The summit, also known as the Mission 300 Africa Energy Summit, is a landmark event aimed at accelerating energy access across the continent.
