Indonesia to meet Apple on investment proposal, official says

This meeting is a prerequisite for the tech major to locally sell its latest iPhone 16. The device was banned last year in Indonesia since the company failed to meet the criteria which says that smartphones sold domestically should comprise at least 40% of locally-made parts.
