WATCH: OHP reminds drivers to remain attentive while driving after semi-truck collision

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) —The Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) reminds drivers to give their full attention to the road after a dash cam caught one semi-truck crash into another on the side of the highway.

According to OHP, the crash could have been deadly, but amazingly, there were no injuries.

The state trooper happened to be behind a semi in El Reno on I-40. His dashcam caught the moving semi to crash into a semi that was parked on the shoulder of the highway.

The driver told the trooper he had reached down to grab his water bottle, causing the truck to swerve.
