'Reacher' Season 3 Just Confirmed Its Release Date With an Explosive New Trailer

The third season of Reacher is almost here, and this time the eponymous badass is going deep undercover. With a new action-packed trailer, the Amazon Prime Video series has revealed what Season 3 of Reacher will be about, and exactly when the hit show is coming back.

Set to the classic song by Kansas, "Carry on My Wayward Son," the new Reacher trailer finds Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) recruited to be an undercover informant in order to take down an enemy he thought he'd killed long ago. This means Reacher is infiltrating an organization of very bad dudes, but also, on a low-key revenge mission, too.

Reacher Season 3 is based on author Lee Child's seventh Jack Reacher novel, Persuader, which was originally published in 2003. Like all aspects of the Reacher series, there are bound to be big differences between the novel and the show, even if the show retains the basic spirit of the books.

But, beyond the plot, the biggest news from the trailer is that it confirms one big question Reacher fans have had for a while: the release date of Season 3. It will hit Prime Video on Thursday, February 20 with the first three episodes streaming all at once.

You can catch up on Reacher Seasons 1 and 2 on Prime Video right here.
