The Traitors fans call out player’s ‘toxic’ behaviour after Kas is banished saying ‘that was a really ugly watch’

THE Traitors viewers have blasted Joe and branded him “toxic” after he prayed on the downfall of his co-star Kasim in ugly scenes.

Kas was banished last night in brutal scenes as many of his fellow players on the BBC series failed to believe him about his Faithful status.

In one heart-wrenching scene, his co-stars even refused to include him in discussions, which forced him to leave the room and eat his dinner alone as they continued to isolate him from the group.

It led Kas to admit that it wasn’t the first time he had been “left out” in life as he reflected on his Traitors experience solemnly.

Joe, who many fans have credited as being largely responsible for his demise, appeared to encourage his co-stars to pick on Kas and vote him out of the Scottish castle.

He was left looking more than embarrassed when it was revealed he had been barking up the wrong tree the whole time after Kas confessed his faithful status.

In the end, Joe’s fellow players also began to turn on him for getting it so wrong – including a fiery confrontation with Dan.

Dan slammed how the group had gone off “assumptions” heavily influenced by Joe which led to Joe to quip back in nasty scenes.

Joe barked Dan down and shouted at him for taking it “personally” as the rest of the group begged for the tensions to simmer so they could process the exit.

Now, the BBC viewers have had their say and have slammed Joe for his “toxic” ways and belittlement of his fellow player.

Writing online, one said: “He has so much anger and hate for everyone especially Kas.

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen him smiling on the show or actually being friendly and nice.

“Seems like he only speaks when he wants to trash talk someone.”

Another added of the player: “He is just toxic player.

“It was really ugly to watch.”

A third fumed: “The fact that Joe is a teacher makes it so much worse.”

Before a fourth theorised: “Honestly will be shocked if the group don’t turn on Joe for how he reacted to Kas exit.

“Straight away he was back s***e talking Kas instead of admitting he got it wrong.”

Taking the high road, Kas opted not to slam any of his fellow players upon his exit.

Speaking after he was banished, he said to his co-stars: “It’s been fantastic and you are all fantastic people.”

How does The Traitors work and who hosts it?

The Traitors first launched in the UK in 2022, after the Dutch format was acquired by the BBC.

Claudia Winkleman is the show’s host, and has now hosted all three series to date.

How does it work?

It is a reality game show that involves 22 contestants, and some of them are chosen to be The Traitors.

The Traitors sees a group of contestants taking part in “the ultimate game of truth and deception”.

The group of contestants are competing for the chance to walk away with a huge cash prize.

While navigating through a series of challenges, the team are also tasked with figuring out who the Traitors are in the group (usually three contestants).

Each night, the Traitors gather to “eliminate” one of the Faithful, removing them from the competition

Meanwhile, the traitors can be “banished” if they’re successfully outed as a traitor by a faithful.

The winners of the show are either the Traitor who remains undetected or the Faithfuls if they successfully eliminate all the Traitors.

The prize sees the winner could get £120K.
